Not sure if I found any new favorites; the La Mission and Avion stand out to me so far. Frank is up there, too.
I am confirming that the Surrogates don’t really suit me as a whole.
Although it’s hard to come by a bad cigar in the entire Tat line.

The Whore was surprisingly Anti-Tat in that it was sweet and absent of the pepper strength component you'd expect from a Tatuaje.

I'm with Nature that I'm not sure the Surrogates line fills the spot it was designed to - I think in most cases I'd go the extra $1 or $2 for a Tat. Conversely, working the LATs in was nice as I almost never go to them.

I'm also with chain_gang that you can go palate blind by having the same or similar thing over and over - I've mixed in a few other brands in and taken a day off here and there.

PS - Did anyone really bet against Tony in this thing?

Got to agree with the Surrogates comments. They have never impressed me, other than the Cracker Crumbs.
It's been nice working thru the line.

And I'm not out to win anything - just smoking them thru the month. I'm only a little ahead because that's all I've smoked all month. I have to say though that I'll be ready for something else when the month ends.

But, I did not enter RG... difficult enough to determine the specific cigars; ie is it a Seleccion de Cazadores, Miami, Reserva Miami, or Reserva Nicaragua?
If someone could enter RG for me, we could find that. Its only as good as the data input.

You know, there are apps out there that can identify birds, plants, insects, etc from images, and they work quite well.
I’m certain an app could be developed to ID cigars from an image. Thing is though, it won’t get into the App Store.

Ok, maybe it could just calculate the total dollar value of the Tats smoked for the month and compare that to the Crowned Heads smoked last year.

I enjoyed it, but had some challenges keeping that wrapper burning on par with the rest of the cigar. Fun one to try and I liked it, but probably not mass production material.

What did you think of that one? Its supposed to use the Sancti Spiritus tobacco as the wrapper. I enjoyed it, but had some challenges keeping that wrapper burning on par with the rest of the cigar. Fun one to try and I liked it, but probably not mass production material.

It was good but it wasn't fantastic. It it were regular production I wouldn't have done a search. I didn't have any burn problems though - smoked like a champ right down to the nub

Had a Tat last Friday, but not counting it. Got a lot of DPGness from it, but the end of the retros were a bit off and I didn't notice strength. I read these Avions are Fausto blends, and I didn't get any Fausto-ness. Eventually, everything was muted ashyness. Read a couple things about palate mutedness needing a week or two to recover from, so I'm thinking maybe this coming weekend I'll hopefully get back to the Monthlong.

Somehow, I apparently won this contest, as much to my surprise, i received an extra box i wasn't expecting today containing my budget fiver prize.

Apparently Matt aka chain_gang cant count,lol

Thanks a bunch for the smokes as well as the bands and especially the larger cigar "cards". They will help break up just having bands, and help eat up some space with cool looking cards, as covering all the free space with only bands is a more daunting, mundane task than I expected.
