What was your first box purchase.....

Just reading some threads and got me thinking about my first box purchase. Mine was over twenty years ago and was a box of Don Tomas Robustos from Ted's Pipe Shoppe here in Tulsa. Nicaraguan cigars were basically crap back then. Dominican cigars were the thing, Honduran cigars were decent, and Jamaican​ cigars were still available. What cigar made you take the big leap to make a box purchase?.....

That was a really nice cigar! Wish they still made them.

First box purchase was early '14, and it was Punch Elites (corona). Still love me some Punch. First cigar that made me pay the extra for a box from a b&m, was the LGC Serie R Esteli, and that's still the best $5 cigar I've ever had

I can honestly say I've never bought a box of cigars.

I've bought plenty of bundles of 20 or more, but never a whole box at the same time of something good enough to actually package in a box. (bit of a cheapie aficionado here, in case you haven't figured that out :))

And I've paid a few bucks for _empty_ boxes at the B&M if they were particularly attractive, but I'm pretty sure that's not what you're talking about here :)
