Potential upgrades (price added to $160 general admission ticket):
+$40--Very Important Herfer (2 hours early entry)
+90--CigarNut (4 hour early entry, breakfast, drink special, added prize potential)
+55--Shirt (12 cigar Oliva Sampler, Lotus Lighter, punch cutter, bottle opener, guillotine cutter, ice mold)
+25--Hat (10 cigar RP sampler)
+40--RP & AB Event Upgrade (early entry, free samples of yeungling and glenfiddich, 8 RP & AB cigar sampler, pint glass, rocks glass, desk valet)
Last year I enjoyed Friday way more. Its the same number of tickets being sold for each day but the overall vibe of the crowd was calmer.
My thoughts on upgrades this year.
VIH - eh its ok but I did not upgrade.
NUT- no thanks, but I am cheap
Shirt- last year I was happy with it. This year I am passing, if you like those particular Oliva then I think it worth it but to me if it aint a V it aint for me.
Hat - I like Rockys so I think it is a good deal.
RP AB Event - I am on the fence. They ran a similar free event last year but less swag. Last year it was kinda like a panel from an convention they sat a table in front and talked/fielded questions. Not sure if it will be the same this year or not.

I was leaning towards Friday with the additional RP event upgrade as my only upgrade. I like some rockies and free yeungling is always a nice thing. I think I would do the event over the hat since the sampler is likely similar.

I'm not going to go to the actual CIGARfest itself, I'm just going to be hanging around the town and going to the free events at the CI stores themselves

At least there is a good back-up plan in case of no tickets - hanging with DogRockets!

Wow, Someone Knows Me
I got tickets the old-fashioned way last year. I set an alarm on my phone for 10 minutes before they went live, and camped out online.
The key is having all that information, CC, Shipping, etc. in beforehand, and not debating whether or not to pull the trigger. Just make sure you have a good internet connection.

I hear Sam Luccia is sponsoring Jello wrestling this year. Winner goes home with a box of the new El Gringo.
