Same here. The dates on my last two orders from CBID: 11/11/14 and 11/19/13. I didn't realize it had been that long.

I heard that there is a trick to delaying shipping and having everything get lumped into one shipment. How does that work?
Easy. Just go to "shipping frequency" under "my account" and change it before the previously set day comes. For example, mine was set to Thursdays but I only won 3 singles last week so just now I set it to Tuesday, so it won't ship tomorrow. If I'm still not ready by next Tuesday, I'll change it to Thursday again.... It doesn't seem like there's any limit to how many times you can do this, and I doubt cbid cares. In fact, the reason people put off paying is to buy more stuff in order to "save on shipping" so it's really in their better interests to allow it.
Ahh, I thought it was more complicated than that. Thanks!
My local B&M is great, but they don't carry anything milder than a solid Medium. I've been recommended quite a few tasty Mild or Mild-Medium cigars, but they just don't carry them. The other options are BevMo or Total Wine, but their prices are high and they don't have any tobacconists to help. There are also two lounges, but the prices are high and they're really cliquey. I called one of them and the guy audibly sighed when I asked him to check which company made the humidors they were selling. Seriously?
I think CBid would work well for me to pick up a single of a few of the cigars that I've been recommended.
Most days my iron willpower is a match for my creative reasoning ("Well, you know, you could always just get it now, and let it rest for a few months and not buy anything THAT month.")
:D
Well looks like I got sucked back in after a few months off...

Works for Freefall. Just leave the window open for several cycles and it will display the bottom price the freefall has hit. It works even if the tab is in the background.
Whooops looks like Jesse beat me to it on the first one
There's two
One tracks pricing history and shows best, average and worst prices. I didn't do research on the accuracy of the information but it seems to be good.
Cigar Bid Prices
The other just tracks the lowest price it's seen during free fall since you've had the window open. It resets if you leave the page so I just open a few tabs with free falls and let it keep track.
Free Fall Tracker
I didn't know about the prices one. There's also this site you can search for all the historical auctions. Freefalls aren't included I believe.

Wow, great apps for CBID, thanks for sharing... now to resist the temptation to look at old orders and see what sort of deal i got...
Thanks for sharing. This will be a great money saver.
I'm not sure this site is still as good as it used to be. I've noticed it's not picking up the last several months' worth of auctions.
If you search for Papas Fritas, for example, it shows you that the tin of 4 has 1,728 auctions. However, the last one is January of this year.
Also, it includes auctions going back years. Which I don't think is very helpful. For when it gives you the average, good, best, etc., it's using ALL the auctions to get these numbers. I don't think an auction 3 years ago will have any benefit to an auction tomorrow, from a statistical point of view.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great site, but it's more than just looking at those numbers, you have to look at the recent auctions to get your best guess.
I'm kind of scared to install these Chrome extensions. o_O
I won't be able to claim that I could quit browsing CigarBid anytime, if I wanted to. Honest.
:)
The Tat Pudgy Monsters free fall ends today. $75.04 seems to be the lowest (according to my new fancy Chrome plug-in when I was watching it last night). If you've already placed an order it's only $1 shipping. $76 for a box of Pudgys!
Is it sad that I sat there and watched the free fall for about 10 minutes, just drooling, and wanting to click the button to buy them?
I've been a bad boy!

They're really good if you can lay them down for a year or 2
Dude I looked at my profile,I haven't placed an order since 2013
I switched my weekly ship date to delay my first order from shipping.
I just did the same - hopefully can delay shipment a week or two to make room in the ol' humidor for the order I placed. Of course @Horseshoe will be splitting some of the Gurkhas I purchased (Doble Maduro baby).
Just picked up a fiver of Drew Estate Smoking Monk Imperial Stout. I am excited.
Today a shipment arrived; six Genesis the Project with ash tray box, a fiver of La Diferencia Cubana (for when on the riding mower)
In delaying shipment mode.... a couple Griffin's single, a Leon Guillermo, and a 5-er of HC Connecticut so far. But I really need to save more on shipping before finalizing the order!
This will be here tomorrow
