I thought someone on here at one time had like a "rock crystal" type mint that was supposed to be pretty effective against this. @Horseshoe didn't you get some at one point? Were they effective? (Yes, get your butt back on this forum to answer this question)
OK well, after yesterday's "wisecrack" post, with the help of Google I thought I'd return with something more substantive. At a quick glance, it would seem that tonic water, plus Kayla's mention of whiskey and Brian's hydrogen peroxide, receive concurring nods from various sources, so maybe those among others could be worth a try. I find that popping a piece of gum in my mouth at near the end of the smoke seems to help...also, put down the stick as soon as you start to get the tongue burn. As far as smell on your body and cloths, nothing except a shower and change of cloths works for me...but the wife puts up with the smells as long as they aren't too bad, and my mid-week smokes are after she goes to bed.
Thank you all for the help, I grabbed some mouth wash today. Hopefully that does the trick.
Wait, cigar breath isn't a perk?
My wifey likes the smell of cigars. I can't keep her from fondeling me after a cigar. Of course, she can't help it.....
I tried this last night. I don't know if it took away the cigar breath, but it did make my mouth look like a horror film, followed by seemingly whiter teeth :)Quote:
