So which one should I start with?
The dirty rats aren't hard to find. The ratzillas are harder to find.
Here is my liga porn photo for everyone today.

An example of why a buyout isn't always a bad thing....http://halfwheel.com/drew-estate-cha...rs-price/81657
Nice big time score right there!! I buy em singe anyways so this is better
Not a fan. have tried the T52, #9, Undercrown and FFP. All way too one dimensional for me. The flavor was not too bad but just the same taste from light to end.
Agreed although I like the 52...I mostly stick to the collecting end of it now lol

I have always been a fan of DE but I haven't tried many of their lines. When I first started smoking cigars I was into "Sweet Cigars" so the ACID and Natural lines were my favorites. I just recently had a KFC and it was awesome. Looking forward to trying more of their "Non Sweet Cigars".
Don't know if there's a new Liga thread, but I had my 1st Liga 9 toro the other night and FELL IN LOVE!! Just ordered (2) 4 packs from Small Batch. If anyone has a box of these they know they're never going to smoke, let me know. WOW!! (Ok, a little over excited, but still...)
@UncleFesterESQ That's how the disease starts...next will be T52, then unicos, and before you know it....Boom liga whore status. Ask me how I know...

The LP #9 is one of my favorite cigars. I've smoked a T52 and it was good, but didn't live up to the hype with me. The one FFP that I've had was pretty amazing.
Wow bringing this back from the dead! I have been slacking on my LP whoring...need to step up the game.

FFP all time favorite liga. Prefer T52 over no9 and haven't enjoyed any undercrown nica rustica or KFC I've had so far, maybe I should rest them.
I like the L-40 quite a bit.
I have a couple I've never fired up. Sounds like a good time to.
I think I have one recently given to me, I'm actually smoking a nica right now that I also received it had a date of 12\14 and I can tell its mellowed quite a bit. Maybe they just need rest, I'm he'll on smoking em ROTT
i guess its only fair i got you onto viva whoring lmao
Heading to a L.P event Thurs with JD in the house. heard the last of the Manifesto's are being sold.
So considering that most people say DEs are best smoked relatively fresh and don't age well, will you DE whores actually get through your collections before they start to fade?
jimmys is actually a collection! many he will not smoke same as me. my Manifesto coffin will not be smoke unless i get another one. they had a ton of Manifestos at the event i went to. i actually ahd to go buy some single sticks to get enough for the coffin. i dont see them ever selling them (even though they are not marked as not for sale like the As)
My palate is weird and I know it. Part of the weirdness includes not being moved by some cigars that many others love. I've been wowed by a single Liga here or there but I generally get very little flavor out of em (crazy, right). I've sampled FFP, L40, UF13, UF4, T52, #9 and none consistently sings to me. Ironically, I do like the regular production Undercrown but I like most all cigars with San Andres Maduro wrappers.
My palate also doesn't wake up for most Tats either (excluding TAA 2014, Avion 11, Black Label CG).
Not sure why this would be. He just posted that he stocked up on them for Catsfest and they haven't announced a new Event Cigar yet.
Event only cigar that comes in Coffins of 2. Took the place of the Liga A. something like 9.25 x 38 and is a Liga Blend in a Herrera Estelli Wrapper
Basically what Kyle Said. I have some stuff to smoke and some for the collectors aspect. Kyle and I actually argue about the effects of the Swisher buy out. I personally feel quality has already started to take a hit due to the bigger business/higher production aspect so I chose to stock up on the normal Unico Line before they are ALL new production. To me the newer 9s/52s are not as flavorful and I have actually had a new release FFP blow up on me. The whole aging bad thing is really only for the 9s IMO. The T52s just mellow out a bit and the Unico Line is fine with Age. I smoked a couple year old Ratzilla on mothers day and it was phenomenal. However, to actually answer your question, if I feel the quality is declining, yes I will easily smoke through all the ones I have to smoke lol.
Not weird at all brother. Smoke what you like and like what you smoke. That's what it's all about. I will say the newer stuff is no where near as good as the older stuff. If I can track down an older T52 or Unico I'll send it to you to try and see if there's a difference for ya. Most of mine are still in sealed boxes so I'll have to ask around. Can't promise anything
Just a heads up, the deal at CI was a box of Liga or 2 boxes of Unico for 1 Manifesto Coffin. Infused stuff and Monks didn't count towards it, and I can't remember if Undercrown did.
I agree quality may go down down for drew estate but I think the biggest factor for that will be how long JD is involved. I like the fact that Swisher can help lobby for cigar smokers now that they own a actual cigar company. And it seems like the deal was 2 boxes unico or 18 singles or box of ligas got manifestos. Undercrowns acids and Amy other line of box purchase was the 5 free cigars cutter hat shirt deal.
lol....know the feeling
