Pardon 1926 Maduro
Conga Line is a neat analogy and I agree for most cigars but not for the Pueblo Dominicano.
Only a few cigar companies have the clout to buy leaf for a consistent product over time so the small company model is to buy leaf that's available, make a blend and create or recycle a marque. Hopefully it sells. That's why I buy heavily when I've found something like the Pueblo but I've bought pooch douches too.
Smoking a conga-line 2013 Rocky Patel The Edge. Of course it's inconsistent, has some moments, but I could have bought Pueblos instead.
My father Robusto...5.2x52...quite likely the "oldest' in terms of it's time in my Humidor, cigar I have...seven to nine months.
Also the last of the box. Like the look of the wrapper in the Sunlight and the cigar is smoking very smoothly.
LE Corona's still my #1 choice from the My Father line, do like that size.
Haven't checked temp or Humidity today but after one helluva lot of rain overnight, air quality's much improved.
Muwat +11....
Conga-line, 2013 A. Turrent Tradicional Robusto Grande. Best of the 4-5 that I've had of these so far. Yes, dipwit that I am I bought a box. Ice water and a few crickets at sunset.
Finally getting to burn one this week. A Perdomo Champagne Noir is my choice tonight. Love a good maduro!
