A few years ago, deep in the throes of noobularism, I asked a co-worker, whom I knew to be a cigarophile, for a recommendation on a good cigar for under $6 (I was strictly a B&M patron at the time, largely unaware/wary of online options). "Gurkha Park Avenue" he replied, "Maduro and Connecticut." He then clued me into online discount sites. Since that time my inventory has only rarely lacked them :)

This is from one of the first 5ers I ever bought when I got heavy into the hobby in April 2013. I can't believe this cigar used to make my head spin. Real nice wood and spice flavors and it's fairly creamy. Pretty nice.
