Kevin, nope this cigar stuff is to put it mildly confusing, Garcia/My Father along with some others, A. Fuente for one have oner heck of a lot cigars, Garcia makes more than few for others, like Crowned heads, Aston,Tatuaje.La Imperiosa. etc. The first Garcia igar, as I recall was the Vegas Cubanas that I smoked, way back when He was working out of a small place in Miami, and I was hooked on his cigars right then. Now I smoke more of his stuff than likely all other non Cubans combined.
Ok, I'll hop in for some My Father Fridayness with this Centurion https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0753841b5d.jpg

Last My Father Friday smoke.
Burnt to the nub about an hour ago. Like these lil wuns but there's always the temptation to one right after another. Give in and do that the box empties fast.

Glad You liked the Elegancia Kevin. I'll ignore the"with coffee" pairing, to say the image pairing of Garcia & Garcia looks right proper fine. Thanks for reminding to get a much needed fix of the Dead right now.
First live show and I've been a Dead Head ever since. Like getting hooked by the Vegas Cubanas from the "other Garcia'. By the way, Pepin Garcia made some very fine cigars for Nestor Miranda, especially the long thin star of the Miranda show.
The original Murcielago cigars which I liked a lot were made for Epinosa by Pepin Garcia. I've not tried the 'new" Murcielago's tho they're supposedly close to those made by Garcia.
Cigars & Coffee may not be every ones cup of Tea. They have to make do with Tea For the Tillerman.
Cheers, enjoy the weekend.
Saturday Afternoon.
Trying to get an accurate inventory of smokes done, ain't easy once the count exceeds the total of fingers and toes. But this time My luck was in,tho the inventory total may be off,did find this hiding in the dark. Was certain I'd smoked the last one of these a while ago. Time to restock, it seems Yup,they're good long burning and tasty twigs.

Cuban Cigar Factory Manolo Quesada Belicoso
Very tasty and decent burn, excellent draw, but the wrapper peeled around the middle very badly.
Peeling wrapper isn't a big issue, so overall a decent, very tasty, hour long smoke https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6532ab55bd.jpg

Very cool Kevin,

Had a small order come in yesterday, mainly to get my hands on a fiver of the new Warped Chinchalle sticks. There’s no way I can wait till Wednesday to try them. So being a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I decided to give one a try today, rott
Barely an inch in, so I’ll leave any first impressions till tomorrow

Part of a trade with @jrfoxx ; Solid smoke! I couldn’t believe how much it smelled like chocolate before lighting- something I normally dont notice. I will say the Flor De Las Antillas i had last week is still my favorite My Father ive had so far. Not putting this one down by any means but that stick really set the MF bar for me. Thanks again Sean!

So glad there are a couple fellow Dead Heads in here! I am quite jealous thats u guys have gotten the full experience- i was 7 yrs old when Jerry died. I did see “The Dead” with Warren Haynes (whom I love) which was absolutely phenomenal but I know it wasnt the real thing. The music never dies though and there’s an insane amount of recordings out there so im very grateful for that. Play Dead

Early Saturday Evening.
Great weather today and a good smoke enjoyed.

Torano Vault blend Do42, six years age. Digging in humi and found this. This was one they made 3 blends from tobacco supposedly found in a vault. Pretty good smoke, might have a few more lurking. Enjoyed toranos, don't know why I got away from them. Haven't smoked one in well, 6 years
@LazyLightning
I went ahead and lit up a Chinchalle. An inch in and I'll say its pretty damn good. Burn line and ash are on point and that Dominican flavor is prominent.
Curious to know you and Tony's thoughts. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9d7c6e519a.jpg

Milder than I typically prefer, but very tasty and smooth.
Perfect draw, burn and construction
Pretty pricey, wont be buying any more, but was part of a nice one time splurge.

You can’t help when your born, but at least your still able to enjoy the music. My wife’s first show was after Jerry Died also, not because of age. I turned her onto them when we got married in 2000. Her first was “The Dead” with Jimmy Herring in the lead spot during the 2003 Sumer Getaway tour. We were only able to catch the Atlanta show. That was the first time I had seen them all together ( obviously minus Jerry and Vince ) since my last Grateful Dead show, which was the 3 night run in Charlotte 95. After those Charlotte shows and Jerry’s death, the only show I went to before the 03 Atlanta show, was RatDog at the HOB in Myrtle Beach SC, in May 2000. The 03 Atlanta show also had Joan Osborn which gave it a somewhat late 70s Donna vibe, plus Herring was very respectful of the part he played. Dylan, opened for them, and Sammy Hagar came out for Loose Lucy, and the JB Goode encore. Then during the Wave That Flag tour in 04 me, my oldest friend/tour buddy went and caught Charlotte and Raleigh August 17/18. Warren was in the lead spot this time, as with Herring, Warren was very respectful of the part he played. We even took my friends little brother since he was getting into them, all three of the shows (from both those tours ) were fun, energetic, and had outstanding set lists. It did hurt not to see Jerry, the spirit of the Grateful Dead was present though and I’m glad to have seen them. Shortly after my health started to seriously decline, so my show days are unfortunately over it would appear.
Anyhow, try not to get to hung up on not having seen Jerry ( yes I realize that’s easy for me to say ) Between the Dead Archive and tons of other LP, CD, DVD sources, the magic is still there and always will be.
We’ll I liked it also, even 1 day after being delivered. I could tell they need some rest to really shine like most other Warped sticks. But I did enjoy it very much. The construction was great, draw was top notch, as was the razor sharp burn line. I felt it was medium body, and a nice flavor profile.
Interested in Tony’s thoughts on it, but I’m sure he’ll make us wait till Wednesday. Lol!
For Sunday
