I have a rabbit air with the smoke kit and have been disappointed to be honest. I have a "cigar room" in my house which has a TV, leather sofas, and a humidor cabinet along with other cigar storage devices. I am the only one who uses the room and rarely have anyone over. While the rabbit air helps with the odor, it isn't a "smoke eater". You really need more then just the rabbit air. I am still trying to figure out what that other device is.Quote:

When I was in college I smoked indoors. Mainly because I was a writer, and chain smoking is a part of any writer's healthy diet. Everything in my "office" stunk. I stunk all the time. It gets musty when smoking indoors.
Now that I have a family, I am a strict none smoker in the house. Don't my wife or kids to have to smell it or breathe it. I do smoke in the garage though, just make sure the door is part way up.
If weather is an issue, I say embrace it. To me, poor weather is nature's way of making me practice moderation :p
It probably helps that cigar smoke smells much nicer than cigarette smoke.

Whenever I build a shop, I'm gonna make a man cave out there. Complete with the leather arm chairs and big ol tv for sports. That way I can kinda smoke inside somewhere and not worry about the house.
Smoke inside my office in the winter months - 1 cigar a day. Installed and inline fan that works pretty well and will use Ozium and / or Pure Ayre to help get rid of any lingering odor. Tolerable for the wife as it's not a common area room and if I go a few days without it usually clears to the point you can't really tell.

I spent nearly 6 months smoking inside an apartment once a week. I had 2 sliding glass doors to a patio where I kept one open, and used a fan to blow the smoke out. I would leave the windows open for a couple hours afterwards and the place reeked for a few days, but seemed to have no lasting effects. Wife didn't notice when she visited on the weekends, and when we moved out nothing was ever said.
I am going to try not to ever smoke in the house unless I have a proper ventilation system set up in the office. My primary concern is if I smoked in the house I would probably start smoking way more
