Yep, as Ninja pointed out I've not had trouble using a coin to open.
I have one with a pressure valve but it's only a fiver case. Happy to send it to you to use if that's enough.
The bigger ones 18, 30, 40 all have them I believe.

Mine doesn't have a pressure release valve, but as others have pointed out, a coin or screwdriver will be enough to break the seal.
I use the Perfecto 8 Cigar Telescoping Case for short trips. I put 4 cigars on one side of the cedar and my accessories on the other side to keep them from banging around. I know a lot of people who use the airtight ones with the foam dividers (like Cigar Caddy or Xikar) and put the cigars under the foam and the accessories on top of it.
I'll pack a screwdriver and when TSA asks, I'll just start mumbling to myself! ;) A coin should do the trick.
I don't know why I didn't think of a coin like @StogieNinja suggested. I may just get a little bubble wrap for the cutter and lighter. I need to get some bubble wrap anyway....
You might better check the TSA rules and rules for the airline you are flying with on what kind of lighter and cutter you can even bring. Pretty sure a torch won't be acceptable, unless empty and/or in a special case...soft flame can be carried on...not sure about cutters.
I checked mine.
Oh really ? I have plenty - I can send you some ?
Oh and I have one of those Perfecto 8 Cigar Telescoping Cases that @cheaphumidors recommended. I'd be happy to send you that, I don't ever use it.....
