For sure there is a California thing requiring a live signature for tobacco products. Most of the bigger retailers hold to it, which has driven me away from them - I simply can't always be home for a delivery. As soon as Famous sees my CA address, I must pick a signature courier option from the list. I chose UPS because they often hit my neighborhood late and it's one of the cheapest.
