Finally got some equipment to clean my own pipes
So here lately through a mixture of good deals and trades my pipe collection has been steadily growing.
I've picked up quite a few pipes at estate sales and flea markets in the past weeks, creating a need for a lot of cleaning.
Paying my shop $10 each is very reasonable when I have one or two pipes to clean every now and then. But for the volume I'm working with now, it's just too much. Heck, that's money I could be spending on more pipes.
So, I got this jewelry polisher.

I'm not great at photography and these photos do not do the difference justice, but here's a before and after of a beautiful silver banded Parker pipe I picked up at a local flea market.

It's up to 50+ now. I've picked up 9 in the past 3 weeks.
Not buying new pipes mind you, but picking up a few at flea markets including that Parker pictured above. It's a fantastic pipe. The company was created by Alfred Dunhill in 1922 using briar that didn't quite make the cut for Dunhill pipes. I couldn't believe I found one at a flea market.
A few other very nice pipes I traded for. I had some McClelland tobacco stuck back from 2017 when the owner of the company retired and shut it down. The aftermarket prices went through the roof with tins selling for $300+ each at times. I didn't want to just sell it, so I decided to trade it for nice pipes that I usually wouldn't buy for myself. It turned out great.
I'm sure my pipe acquisition will slow down a bit now that I don't have the McClelland tobacco, but I'm always on the lookout for a good deal.

Sounds good Paul. I just watched your last 2 YouTube vids on your new pipes. Looks like you are enjoying the hobby and having a blast. Looks like you are stepping up your game.

Man, I appreciate you watching.
I'm trying to post more content on there and see if I can get my views and subs up.
I enjoy making videos and talking about pipes. And I love that there are some folks that care to listen.
