Shown next to a full-sized one to see the relative size. Got it from AND in Ypsilanti, MI. Chose this one based on (1) they claim it's made from block, (2) it came with a case, and (3) it was dirt cheap - ~$21 shipped.
Just ordered 1 pound of Dunhill Nightcap and 1 pound of Dunhill EMP for a grand total of $78.60, what a steal.
I'm gearing up for a "Compare the Navys" review session. Just got in four more navy flakes, so I'm up to 7, I think.
Comoy's Cask 4
McClelland No. 2035 Dark Navy Flake
Samuel Gawith Navy Flake
Newminster No. 400 Superior Navy Flake
I picked up a new cob for the comparo, which I'm going to break in tonight.
I also got a tin of Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky and an oz of Hearth & Home Bulk Vermont Meat Candy.
Got tired of lugging around all my pipe stuff and pipes, so I decided to get a bag dedicated to my pipes. It's on old leather camera bag

Now I need the coat!
Couple little things I've picked up. Been out of town so haven't been able to post:
The top pipe is a Brigham 1 dot Pot shape, the one below is a little Mastercraft with CB-like rustication. I think the tobacco is self explanatory :p

Just made a little purchase at P&C.. I'll post pictures when it arrives.
Never owned a Kaywoodie before, but now that I'm retired I can't afford to be a pipe snob anymore, so I just grabbed this one on Fleabay.

The trip was great. Cloudless skies with temps in 80s the first two days, cooling to the 70's by the third. At night, the coyotes were in fine vocal form, and the only rattler I encountered was roadkill. I was on a bit of a latakia kick and smoked Dunhill Early Morning Pipe all weekend, but the other tins I took did not go to waste thanks to my tobacco-less friends.
My new (to me) Capitello that I will be working on today.

Started my journy into piping this afternoon with a few starters that @Branzig suggested.

Hi Jake,
Looks like @Branzig did you up brown. Enjoy yourself.
Job well done buddy. Glad you found the places I was telling ya about! Great way to get started! I'll PM ya a little later on about some other stuff now thay you got your feet wet [emoji6]
I ended up getting lucky. Most the pipe buying community must have been sleeping that day becuase I was able to pick it up for only 46 bucks shipped. A week later a similar one went for considerably more money.
Guess it's all about right place right time.
One tin of Dunhill Royal Yacht and three of Dunhill Deluxe Navy Rolls. I love the Navy Rolls but will only buy it when it's on sale, and all this month Dunhill tins are 25% off if you buy a minimum of 4 at Smokingpipes.com. I may even go back for seconds.
Small order from P&C came in just now.
2 tins of Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky, ounce samples of Pine Grove and Louisiana Red, a bundle of Schizo cigars, and a single Villiger Bold cigar to sample. Kinda pissed that the Villiger came in really rough shape, I don't know if it can even be smoked.

Just jarred up a pound of EMP and a pound of Nightcap.
Thanks for the heads up about the Dunhill tins on Smokingpipes.Com. At first I thought that the listed prices were already discounted and I wasn't impressed but they take off 25% in the cart and that impressed me enough so that I'm putting together a much needed order (yeah, needed like that hole in the head that I'm trying to find).
I smoked all of these tins back in the day except for the Navy Rolls that you and @JimInks speak so highly of, so I added a few of them too. I ordered 8oz bulk of #965 and Nightcap from Pipetobacco.Com (they're 25% off too). It'll be interesting to see how Durbar and Aperitif compare to what I remember of them.
Adding to that hole in the head I purchased a Barling

Bowl was made in pre-transition and probably the stem too (originally) but this bit may be a replacement. I'll try to post before-after pics when I get to it.
I already smoked it...or at least what I could. It was only a buck and I just wanted to try it to see if I'd want a bundle as a cheap stick. It was a pleasant smoke, but the construction issues put me off. The 20 Schizo's I got are flawless in construction and smoke pretty damn good for a dollar stick. Love em.
I loved the Pine Grove! It came really dry but damn was it a nice smoke. It was smoky, fragrant, and fairly sweet. Really enjoyed it. Too bad I don't have ANY twists in my stash at the moment, I can see how it would benefit from a "kick in the pants".
Just put in a tobacco order at 4noggins. Ordered some C&D Chenet's Cake, and in the description is something I've never seen before:
"Estimated peak: 10 to 15 years. But it's definitely smokeable now."
