Big n' Burley in a MM Cob and Folgers in my cup
Had a bowl of McClelland No. 24 matured Virginia this morning in my pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock.
Then I was in the mood for a Lakeland blend, so I'm about halfway through a bowl of Bob's Chocolate Flake in my Real Briar pipe. It's a bent pipe from France. They're carved with people's faces on them. I got it from eBay when I bought a pipe rack. I scoffed at first and considered it a novelty, then smoked it and was impressed. The darn thing smokes great. So it is my dedicated Lakeland pipe now.
Cheers.
Quadruple Virginia in a smooth, bent Dr. Grabow and some Cab Sav left in my glass from supper. Watching the Canes beat the Senators...so far
Puffing Hamborger Veermaster in my Kirsten Mariner. Very fine tobacco, and one of the few that I stock that isn’t made by STG. It’s good to have an alternative supplier. I like its smaller-diameter tin too — seals better than the Escudo-size tins.
Started with Captain Black Cherry in a"Birdseye Grain"Briar.
Now enjoying LL Dark Red in a Kaywoodie Prime Grain.
Both of which are straight Billiards.
Burning a little Sweet Rum Twist in a gourd calabash along with a Rochester Mills milkshake stout.
OGS in the freehand pick axe.
Pride of Lock Lomond in a MM Cob
Some LTF. Need to dry this one out a bit more next time. They seem to be quite a bit wetter than the LNF and LBF I bought at the same time.
I opened a tin of Solani 656, Aged Burley Flake this morning. ABF is unique — I know of no other tobacco that’s remotely similar. It’s a nice change-up for a Virginia and VaPer guy like me.
