a DG Savoy with my name on it.
St. Basil’s Ivan the Terrible in a 2003 smooth medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem.
So, I finally finished filling out my mail in ballot. California, the land of propositions, (and no, I'm not talking about the ones from bleary eyed women with bad teeth in the skid row area of town), where anyone with a few bucks and a stack of signatures gathered outside grocery stores can get their proposal on the ballot. The ballot this year was 6 pages long and came with a voter's guide the size of a phone book. I've been reading and doing online research for two weeks now, but I'm finally done with it. Now for a bit of relaxation and a bowl of R.O's Acadian VaPer in a Mark Tinsky rusticated bent bulldog.
Now smoking aged Hal O’ the Wynd in a smooth three quarter bend 1970s Charatan Belvedere 4211DC with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink. Watching the World Series.

I've spent several hours this morning and this evening putting up bulk blending tobaccos in jars and ended up with a little bowl of leftovers from the pan after handling each batch. That mix is what I just finished smoking tonight in this Hendon billiard. The mixture was very tasty although I'll never be able to recreate it. It was smidgen of this and a smidgen of that; can't stand to throw away the leavings.

I never can either. Sometimes the mix is good, sometimes not so much...
last night was a filthy old cob (2nd pipe I ever bought; a MM Pride w/ Forever stem) filled w/ MacBaren Vanilla Cream flake while sitting near the campfire, camping in the woods, under the stars with my daughter. Not a tobacco I usually like much but the atmosphere and company made it the best pipeful ever.
