AJF San Latano Oval Maduro (Toro)

    1/3 - 2/3:

Kinda hard to guage the body, but I'd say somewhere mild to mild-plus.

    Decent chocolate

    Smooth

    Burns and pulls great

Not really airy, but does seem diluted and a little bland. Just really not a whole lot going on.

    3/3:

Near here, the maduro taste is more present, and is good

    Chocolate seems to uptick

Turns medium or close to it

Tossed shortly after getting into the 3/3. Time, disinterest, and parenting all played a role in the reason to toss early. I did start to enjoy the final third, but not enough to put the other things aside.

    Trial By Smoke Judgement:

For me, I don't think I'll return anytime soon. I don't smoke enough to have certain sticks for certain times, but I'd say this would be a good early morning stick, or something to smoke mindlessly while doing something more engaging. It wasn't anywhere near bad, and I would say it's an OK stick. It's just not $8-9 (CI MSRP) good, to me. Nothing really memorable about it. I know I didn't finish it, but I wouldn't want to smoke four inches to get to the good stuff. I would recommend it to newer smokers or those who like mild-ish strength cigars.

Thanks for the smoke! Don't choke me - I know you like em honest, though!
