God of Fire Serie B 2010 Robusto Gordo

A nice, dark, chocolate colored, oily looking, rich, smooth, Colorado Maduro wrapper. With a smooth cap and firm bunch with just a little give.
Burn was slightly uneven until the last 3rd, with a short, conical coal and light grey, strong ash and a perfect draw with high smoke volume and subtle but fragrant aroma and no burn in the throat.

Flavor was of ample richness, perfect balance consisting of woody and herbal flavor, mild strength, medium body and medium flavor.

No sweetness, bitterness or saltiness, and light burn on the tongue and light sharpness.

Overall a near perfect, elegant character, just plain great cigar.
It certainly aged very well and still had lots of flavor and was very smooth.

You hit a lot of the main points - burn, taste, personal score, and so on. I like that it was kinda short and concise.

Rarely do I enjoy reading the 17 page reviews of a single cigar from many of the top reviewing authorities. Too much fluff usually, but I do like to see how some "tastes" align or are translated for more complex cigars or at times where I cannot put my finger on exactly what I'm getting but I know it's somthing.

I would like to know more about your 100-point scoring system.

Yeah, i dislike all the fluff and opinion in most reviews, and their length.

I like to keep it short, factual and simple, just like what I would want a review I was reading to be.

I use a form from Cigar Weekly they used for blind reviews, but modified some by me to include things I felt were lacking.

I just check the boxes as I'm smoking for real time information, then just put it into words when I finish it.
