So, for you experts out there, what types of issues would likely be seen smoking a cigar with a 50% rh, 62% rh and 70% rh?
What different problems would likely be seen at the 3 different rh's measured with a Humidimeter?

No expert, but do have a somewhat recent experience from shifting to a lower humidity. Was in the 70s zone when I first became a Bum - either using 70% or 72% Bovedas...can't remember. Was told I was good with that % from various online non-Bum resources and from the local B&M. It was good for some smokes, but others I remember having issues with draw, bitterness early on, and cigars keeping a good burn throughout. Bums told me to drop it down to low-mid 60s. Decided to go low at 62% and everything has been smoking much, much better (shoutout to the Bums!).
I believe I can tell a big difference between how my sticks smoke compared to those smoked right outta a B&M humidor.
For your probe device - I'm not sure. One thing, I personally, would keep in mind is the reliability of accuracy and precision for a $20 meter and it's percent error. I would liken it to when I got my torque wrenchs from Harbor Freight - I'm going with a 4-5% error between measured and true. If I read 65 on stick that's been sitting in 62 - there's my 4-5% error, and it's good to smoke. I'm putting 160-165 on a torque requiring 150-160 since 155 would be my target (true measure). And I figured it's accurate enough because I measured it against a calibrated Snap-On, initially.
