Rocky Patel Decade robusto

Paired with: Eight O Clock dark Italian roast

Nose is spice and cedar at the foot. Cold draw is light cedar and straw.

First third: taste is cedar and spice. The aroma is burning wood(??) What the?

Second third: Taste morphs into spice and a pleasantly smoky note, with the smell returning to spice. That's more like it.

Final third: Same as the second, with a slightly unpleasant charred taste creeping in at the back. Put it down when that was accompanied by the stub heating up.

Summary: Quite nice. Makes me look forward to the 15th Anniversary that's next. I can say that I do like a Sumatra, between this and the Hoyo Dark Sumatra.
