A few pics I snapped at the BC Royal Museum today

Just snapped these walking through, didn't have a chance to really read much of the info on these but thought they were pretty cool so thought I'd put them up here. Was really hoping to find one of these Argillite pipes in the gift shop as I'd of paid an arm and a leg for one but no luck.
Anyway I think I matched the picture to the plaque but can't be sure, but cool none the less.

Those are some interestin pipes got anymore pics

All I was able to find of the pipes. Pretty interesting place otherwise tho, lots of local native displays and exhibits

were they all tobacco pipes?

As far as I understood it they were. Some of them were more decorative and less functional but all based on tobacco. Some pretty interesting designs on them

Was pretty surprised to see so much of it there. Came around the corner and the wife said, hey you see these pipes over here, and my jaw dropped. Some were absolutely beautiful. Was really hoping to see some in the gift shop.

Figured you'd all enjoy them as much as I did

I'll be posting up a bunch of pics of the whole trip when we get back and I can get at the ones on the wife's camera. I'll be the annoying neighbor eager to show off his vacation slides to anyone interested lol
