CB annual fund raiser???

I was just reading about how many bum’s have contributed and donated funds to help keep the site up and running and realized I haven’t done my part (yet). Instead of simply hitting contribute and sending some funds I thought it would be a good gesture to donate something to CB which could then be posted up for the other bums to bid on. This would probably raise more funds and would also help me then the heard a little and get rid of some old stock at the same time. Then I got the idea of why not simply have a full blown “fund raiser” as other guys may be thinking the same way as I am. Maybe even open up the door to Sponsors / vendors who may want to donate as well.

Just throwing the idea out there to see what others think.

Well on 14 responses and 1 comment out of 87 views. Was hoping for more feedback, but with only 1 person not interested looks like the people who voted are really in favor of this. Hopefully we can get a few more responses.

It opena the door for all kinds of amoking related goodies to help the site. Sure most members could donate cigars, but others could do ashtrays, pipes, lighters, etc.

I think what we really need is some Bum gear though. I'd totally buy a shirt to wear around and make people ask questions.

Good point I have holders, pokers, stands, all kinds of goodies I could donate as well in addition to cigars. I could probably setup a nice good box to donate for sure.

I think it's an extremely generous offer and sounds like it could be a lot of fun!

I really like this idea. I have wanted to donate and help support the BUM but I don't do Poopal. I inquired about making a cash donation a few months ago, but there was nothing set up at the time to support that type of donation.

Sounds like a great idea, hope that something can be set up!

Well it looks like we have a good amount of interest based on the votes received so far. I hope we can get things going and start it as an annual event or at a minimum a 1 time event to see how it pans out.
