That's exactly the way I do it, and when I have enough jars to fill a medium size box I carry it to the dumpster where, being careful to assure they remain upright, I place them. Then, every Thursday at about 4:30 am, they are collected and transported to the town landfill and buried. That provides the perfect environment for aging.

Uhhhh,,,,,,yeah, but I use a blow torch to set the caulk.

I think it was the tape that got me.......errrrrrr, or maybe the hammer??? Good thing it was still sealed minus the half ounce that fell out of the tin. One can trickle it back into the tin and hammer it shut and the seal isn't compromised....Quote:
