I have a Xikar single flame jet from Cigars International I only use a few times. You are welcome to it if you want it.
I am a Xikar whore and love my Triple tech.
they come in 1,2 or 3 flames.

I love both the Vector and Xikar lighters that I've gotten. Vector Heatran is my triple torch "go-to." it has a big tank and a built-in cigar punch on the bottom. I have some single torch Xikars that are awesome, too!
For awesome, bargain single torch lighters, try the Ronson Jetlite - available at Wal-mart or some drug stores. They're less than $5 usually and work great (and if you lose it, you can just buy another without crying too much).
i have the jet lite triple flame from cigars international that i got for under 15 an really like it. cant go wrong with a ronson either but w your price range might as well go w a xikar. imo, get a cheap one an spend the rest on sticks lol
I'll echo the Xikar/Ronson opinions. A Ronson Jetlite is cheap (so it can be replaced when lost or broken) and available at most Walmarts and some drug stores. Xikar is a great option because of their warranty (lifetime, no questions asked). If you're a beginner, chances are it will not get purged correctly or get crap in the burner or something.
Had a Xikar Flash (single flame) that I used for years and worked great. Currently have a Xikar Pulsar (triple flame) that toasts a foot pretty quickly, although it's easy to over-toast.
If you like a soft flame, I like the Vector thunderbird butane insert for a standard Zippo. I spent about $29 total on Amazon for both.
I love my XiKar Executive II, it is a nice single flame torch. I have had a few problems but with that warranty you can't complain. i just walk into my local B&M set it on the counter and Salem asks me what color I want right there on the spot.
Firmly in the Ronson camp here, even after trying all kinds of lighters over the years.
Cheap and, in my case, reliable.
