Peg Board Pipe Rack
I enjoy cleaning up estate pipes so my pipe collection has grown during the last year of pipe smoking. I, however, only had one pipe rack that held a measly 6 pipes. The rest would start organized on a shelf and my desk, but would end up scattered all over the place. While a fancy display case would be very nice, I would rather spend the money on more baccy and pipes. That and none of my pipes are anything special, just tools for smoking tobacco. Off to Home Depot I went, and this is what I came up with.

In hind site, I should have just purchased a 2' x 4' sheet of peg board as this one is already near capacity. When this one is filled that is what I will do and then I'll just put these two cheap plastic ones out in the garage. When I go that route, I think it would be a neat idea to cover the peg board with pipe related art or advertisements and then just poke holes through it where needed for the peg inserts.

Very cool idea and execution!

Nice project, Jack.
Actually you could make more efficient use of your pegboard space by getting more baskets and hanging the pipes in them. & if you could reconfigure the baskets to hang upside-down, the pipes would be more accessible. Otherwise, you could try to find shallow baskets.
