I love these pics, and this was one of my favorite threads on the old site. I feel like I recognize a lot of the faces in these pics, but can't quite place many of them, as they're mostly before my time. I appreciate it when you guys tell me who I'm looking at if it's someone famous.
The Original Cigar Bum Red Skelton.

This is photo of my Dad taken while he was on "liberty"/shore-leave during WWII. He is the guy on the right with a drink, Curly Howard of the Three Stooges in the middle with a cigar and my Dad's ship mate, Don Beaton on the left holding a cig while they were at Slapsy Maxie's in Hollywood, CA.
Don Beaton and Curly were boyhood friends while growing up in Brooklyn NY. My Dad and Don stayed with Curly while visiting L.A. Dad told me that Curly was a great guy and was very funny, but, he was cheap and did not pick up one restaurant or bar tab that he recalled.
I was recently given my Dad's Navy photo album which illustrates many of the countries and places he traveled to during WWII. I could not find any other vintage cigar photo's.

Other than the image of Curly, this is my favorite vintage image.
