She seems to be missing for about 3 weeks and that isn’t SOP. I hope and pray she is doing well and just took a break. The Queen is missed. Last here on June 17th.
Anyone have her number to check on her well being?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I don't have her number.
I'm thinking her cigars were eatten by gators or stolen by Florida Man.
@cheaphumidors was spending an awful lot of time at that gator place... just saying.
Yeah, she loves being around the reptiles. She is an animal lover without a doubt. Hopefully Kayla doesn’t taste like chicken. Hopefully Porkchop didn’t morph into Godzilla.
But seriously I hope Kayla is doing well. It’s unlike her to not be posting or giving a heads up she was taking some time off.
Its been a month. I'll send her something.
I’m back! Sorry guys. I went into a mild (or mind-bogglingly major) panic when Dave told me he was selling the companies and every time I tried to open Cigar Bum I would get all anxious because I couldn’t mention it to you guys yet. Now that I have had time to calm down and breathe I can start getting excited for the next chapter of my life.

Glad to see you back, Kayla. It's good to hear your optimism about your future.
Have you been able to enjoy the past month at all with the news?
@cheaphumidoirs - we thought maybe you had gone to live with your "pets"
Glad to hear you're all right and not eaten by those gators !
The job situation sucks but almost always it's for the better in the end.
Good luck on the search and let us know what this new chapter entails
I haven’t been able to enjoy anything. I am such a high stress person I have been barely functional! Now I am finally coming around and looking at the reality of the situation which is not that scary, I have a years severance so I have plenty of time to find a new job. I just had to freak out first [emoji1787]

I updated my profile with my home address and new occupation [emoji53] that was kinda sad.

Hey Queen Bum!
Glad to hear that you are ok.
Life changes take some adjustment and getting used to. So take all the time that you need to grab a hold of the new "monster" in your life. And know that your Bum family is here for you. Even if just to vent.
We all have our 💩 to deal with and it takes time. So sit back and figure out what it is that you need/want to do and we will be here in whatever capacity that we can be to see you through your changes.
I wish you the best in whatever it is that you need to do.
Life's a bitch sometimes. But we adjust, make the best of it and move on in our own best interests.
I wish you the best.
Is it time to put out the dragnet for @cheaphumidors again? Don't think I have seen a post in a while
Gonna send out a "care package" with a target send date of Friday.
Oh my goodness thank you Matt! What a lovely surprise [emoji3059]
I am not out of cigars quite yet, but I did consolidate down to one humidor!

Sorry I have been MIA, my father in law died in a car accident a few months back and it has been an absolute shit show trying to deal with his property and such. We have been back and forth to Georgia to try to clean it up. He was a huge hoarder so this has been an absolute nightmare. Plus the accident was his fault and he ended up killing a 22 year old dad who left behind a 3 month old baby. The family is suing so there is added stress, not that they can do anything to us, just the estate, but still more stuff to deal with.
Hopefully this week should be the last trip needed so things should settle down a bit and I will be back around the bum.
Thanks again Matt, and thank you all for checking up on me [emoji3059]

My condolences to you, your husband, and your family. I hope you guys are staying positive and getting through the mess in one piece.
Please don't feel like you have to check in with everything that's going on. We just missed you, was hoping you're doing well. I kinda figured it was job related since you moved on from CH - that can be a big problem to deal with, especially going into a whole new field as you did.
I hope you enjoy the cigars when you have time to relax and take your mind off things!
@cheaphumidors sorry to hear all this. Death is hard enough to deal with but the situation surrounding it doubles the stress. Let the lawyers and insurance handle the one thing and take the rest one day at a time. Lean on each other, that's what you are there for and we are here for you
Condolences to you and Drew Kayla - that's a sad story the whole way around. Good to hear you're still around though and here's hoping you get thru all of this as quickly and painlessly as possible
Sorry to hear all that stuff is going for you! Thanks for checking in. We were concerned about you.

Thank you for all of the support guys!
Drew scattered his dad’s ashes this week so I am hoping he will now feel a chance to grieve. He’s been so concerned with the logistics of everything he hasn’t dealt with the emotional aspect.
Yesterday was the three year anniversary of Kelly’s passing. We had breakfast with Dave this morning. He and the boys are doing well. We still spend a lot of time together even though I don’t work for him anymore.
The job change has been incredible. I am struggling with adjusting to a new management style but other than that it is a blast. I can’t tell you how good this has been for my mental health. I was not designed for desk work.
I am still enjoying cigars regularly and now that I can open the app again I will be around again, I missed you guys!

Kayla, thank you for letting us know. You were missed.
I’m really sorry to hear about the accident. I would love to hear an update on Porkchop when you have time.
Porkchop is doing great! He is my baby boy

I am definitely where I need to be, at least for now. I have to get used to the idea that I won’t be able to do this forever, my body is going to give out way before I am ready to retire. My poor body is battered, bruised, and bloody on a daily basis. Then there’s the poison ivy, sunburn, bug bites, and rashes from being dripping wet all day. I can’t imagine doing this when I am 60.
In general crocs are more likely to lunge at humans when confronted whereas gators usually back off. The Nile, Saltwater, Cuban, and Mugger crocs are notoriously aggressive but they all have individual personalities so you never know. Our juvenile Morelets croc is 4 feet of piss and vinegar and they are usually an incredibly docile species.

Nah, not an adrenaline junky, my mixed up body just doesn’t do the “normal” fear response to animals. My body gets all adrenalined up for dumb things like the grocery store and shopping for home furnishings but not giant predators known to eat humans. [emoji2368]
