I think its about time we got something going for cigarillo sized smokes. There are plenty of short smoke options, but I'm looking for something that fits that 15-30 minute commute. I know that might not be everyones preferred cigar, but sometimes you need something short and quick.
Have any favorites that fit that bill?
I enjoy Nat Sherman .5 Maduros when I have them on hand, but I could use something a bit more affordable.
For cheapies I like Villiger Export Maduros and Parodi Kings. They both run about $1 a piece and are dry cured, so you don't have to worry about humidification. The Parodi's use fire cured tobacco, so if you're not a fan of that, you probably won't like them.
I like the CAO Brazilia Cariocas and RP 1990 Juniors.
I will see if any of those can be had around here and give them a shot.
Maybe I'll throw up some minute man reviews on them to balance out the big ring behemoths i'm stocking up on as well.
Bandidos cheroots from CI aren't bad.
I've sondered about those...the reviews are always good, but haven't jumped on them yet. Are they flavored, or straight tobacco tastes?Quote:

I bought two fivers of the MUWAT KFC Delfinas for $11.00 a fiver from CI a couple of weeks ago. Nice short (time wise) smoke. I went to order some more as I liked them, but the price doubled from the first ones I bought. Not sure why, but they were a decent two bones smoke. They priced me out of them for what you get. Must have been an unadvertised special when I got them?....
I'm a big fan of CAO Mx2 Daggers when I need to keep it around 25 minutes.
I have smoked a few Fuente Maduro Exquisitos and thought they were good. The are 4.5x33 and are a little over $2.
If money no object then papas fritas are a great buy.
Otherwise, Arturo Fuente Equisitos maduro are HANDS DOWN the best cigarillo I've every had for the money.
Perdomo mini maduro. 7-15 minute smoke and pretty good.
The only time I purchased cigarillos was when i bought a tin of Excaliburs on a whim. I think there were 20 in a tin and they smoked quite nice with the premium cigar flavor in a small format. Villiger Exports are also pretty tasty and I like the way they're individually wrapped like little sticks of butter.
Bought a tin at Famous over the summer and really like those. Lx2 Razors are pretty good as well.Quote:

If you enjoy flavored I liked the gurkha tins and the CAO Cherry bombs. DE Acid c-notes are enjoyable as well. If you like a little bigger the CAO Brazilia tins are great.

If you want mild and cheap -- like 60 cents apiece -- try the Old Fashioned Chicos from Mike's Cigars. They come cello-wrapped, no bands, in a white cardboard box like half a carton of generic cigarettes, and you will find one or two that are so badly made you'll have to toss them; but at 50 sticks for around $30 plus shipping an occasional bad one isn't worth worrying about. I still buy them occasionally, they're actually tasty if you like Macanudos and good enough for a mosquito smokescreen while fishing.

If you need a 10 minute puff the CAO Brazillia Minis are exceptional at $10 for 20 of them. Lots of flavour for the size.
