How many cutters/lighters do you have?

3 cutters: Xikar Xi2, Xikar MTX scissors, and a cheap v-cut. I also have a couple cheap guillotines, but never use them since I got the Xi2 years ago.

3 lighters: Xikar Element (precursor to the ELX), Colibri Wellington (soft flame, flint), and a Ronson Jetlite of course.

Now all of those I can justify having - different lighters for different occasions for example. I use the Ronson camping, the Colibri indoors, and the Xikar well...anytime really. But there are 3 other lighters that I want:
Alec Bradley Burner
IM Corona Double Corona
Vector Titan

How could I justify getting those?

Ummmm I have over 30 lighters, probably 15 cutters. Vector Titan is discontinued so if you don't buy one now, it will be gone! <<< Justification #1

Yeah, but you work in the industry - how many of those did you buy?

In general, I don't like buying things for myself unless I NEED it and 99% of the time I don't need it. I also have several expensive hobbies, so do I buy that box of cigars or a new lighter, or do I buy that new golf club I've been eyeing, or that new 9mm pistol?

I like your justification for the Titan though.

I bought all but 2 of the lighters, 2 were samples, bought all of the cutters. And I DO NEED all of them... I have 5 end tables in my porch that I smoke near. Each one has a single, double, and triple (or quad) torch lighter and a guillotine and a punch cutter. Do you really expect me to get up and walk 5 feet if I decide my cigar needs a touch up and I don't have a single flame lighter on that specific table? Come on! What is this, a work out?! :)

I have one vector that I purchased, and two lighters were gifts with orders. I also have a few Ronson Jetlites scattered about. I have one cutter, Xikar X8 as well as a punch built into the lighter I purchased. Hopefully will have a Xikar XV V-cutter on it's way via cigarbid soon.

2 lighters: Xikar ELX and a Ronson Jetlite. The ELX was bought as a souvanier and it stays at home. The Jetlite is for taking out so I don't lose the more expensive lighter.

4 cutters: the punch on the ELX, a cheap guillotine I bought, a cheap guillotine that came with a travel case I got for Christmas and a Xikar XV.

Two cheap cutters, a cheap v cutter I just snagged this weekend, a few ronson jetlites, a CI cheap torch lighter, an engraved Zippo and multiple bics floating around in case the others don't work.

Some day I'll spring for a decent cutter and a fancy lighter.

A cheap guillotine and a scissor cutter. I need to get a new quality guillotine as my cheap one seems rather dull when cutting...

2 lighters - A Ronson and a coleman jet lighter originally for camping, but works fine for gars too. Also a few packs of matches that one B&M always gives when making a purchase.

2 cutters. Xikar V Cutter, Xikar Xi3
5 Lighters: Xikar double jet, 2 Ronson's,2 Tripple flame with a punch by scortch.

About 6-8 cutters and 2 zippos with butane inserts. A Ronson. A burner a xikar LIGA table top lighter. And prob a few other scattered

1 Nice cutter, 2 nice punches, 4 crap cutters and 2 crap punches
1 Nice table top lighter, bunch of Ronsons and Bics

I have around 8 or 9 lighters and same number of cutters and punches

Just my Zippo for lighting, I have a cheap single blade cutter that destroys rather than cuts and my .308 casing punch. Going to need to work on acquiring some supplies soon.

I am sure I have a couple dozen good lighters. Dunhills, ST Duponts, Xikars, etc.

Without a doubt, the best two I have are IM Corona Double Coronas. IMHO, the best cigar lighter ever made.

I have a gold and pewter. The pewter is lovely. Had a case made for it out of bison leather:

I have two cutters that work great: a Cuban Crafters, and a cheap-o. Also have one cheap-o cutter that is such crap that I only use it to cut rope tobacco. I also own one nice punch (xicar).

I have one pipe zippo, and countless torch lighters that are of no use to me. I live at 7500 ft, and work at 9000 ft. I tried forever to find a torch that would work up here, and a dozen or two lighters later I found exactly ONE lighter that worked up here. A xicar high altitude lighter that the latch for the lid melted on it's second day and it quit working altogether on day six. I gave up on torches and just use matches or Bic's now.

Three cutters: Cuban Crafter Perfect, a CI guillotine, and a cheap guillotine from a cigar outing. Only use the CC Perfect.

lighters: Soft flame: IM Corona Double Corona.
Torches: Two Bugatti B-1001s
Zippo BLu
Bugatti B-1
Cheapie picked up in an auction basket

Use the Corona anytime I can. The Blu on the boat fishing. The rest of the time one of the Bugattis. [The last two on the list almost never light. Why do I keep them?]

A Xikar cutter and a few cheap cutters from my B&M.

A nice Xikar executive lighter; however, I normally use Bics.

For Cutters: 1 Xikar X3, 1 Xkar VX, 1 montecristo punch

For lighters: 1 American Thunderbird Soft Flame lighter, 3 generic dual jet lighters, 1 Ronson and a crapload of B&M matches.

Cutters: Gold cigar scissors, bullet punch, cheap V- and an Xikar V cutter that is wonderful. I use the V cutters 99% of the time.
Lighters: Jet Line dual, triple and quad flame. They are going on 3 years old and get a serious workout daily.

For all you bums that have a bunch of lighters, do you use all of them? Or are most just collecting dust?

Cutters: Xikar Xi3 Carbon Fiber, Palio Cutter, Xikar XV V-Cutter, Tatuaje Black Label Cutter, Cuban Crafters Punch, Bullet Punch
Lighters: Nibo Lighter, Other Misc. Lighter, Tatuaje DJeep, 2 Faux Zippo, 1 Real Zippo, 1 Jet/Soft Combo Lighter, 1 Gun Lighter, Numerous BIC soft flames & about 20 or so Ronsons

The V-Cutter & Ronsons are the only ones I touch. The rest are behind glass in a cigar accessory display. Once in a blue moon I'll bring something else out to use at home, and usually quickly remind myself of why I keep with the two I love.

They all get rotated and used. Especially when I do cigar reviews, I try to find one that matches the band of the cigar I am smoking so the photos look all matchy matchy and what not. Plus, a few stay in my purse for when I go out to a lounge.
