Just read a Cigar Advisor article about the history of cigar tubes, and at the end they have a few re-uses for old cigar tubes (hide cash, humidity device, pill case, etc). I thought it would make a good discussion to hear what good uses all the BOTL out there have come up with.

I use one as a traveling pen case for my fountain pen. I put a cotton ball in the bottom and another in the cap to cushion the pen.
I used to use a few to carry ready-to-go power charges for my BP rifles, but now I have a measuring powder flask and don't use 'em for that anymore.
I saved 'em for awhile to use for pocketing a cigar to go, but they all got dented. Then I got a leather two-finger case and now I throw tubes away when I get one, which is rare.
The few that I have I will probably use for carrying for short trips as protection, and as momentos as they were my first CC purchase. I don't anticipate getting any more any time soon. Boxes, fivers online, or singles at the B&M are what I'll be buying going forward.
