Hello all!

My name is Artem, pretty happy to join a cigar community as before this I just enjoyed cigars on my own. I'm from NYC, not a big smoking culture here unfortunately. Been smoking cigars on and off for 7 years, just got into this hobby more seriously. Got me a good humidor, some good cigars, and am starting to really concentrate on the cigar itself now as much as the relaxing experience of smoking one.

Been a lurker on poof before this, found out about this place from lurking there lol, so I'm happy to join in here while it's still a new and up and coming forum!

Welcome to cigar bum. One of my favorite cigar smoking experiences ever was in NYC. There was a little cigar lounge called Velvet Cigar or something like that. A little hole in the wall. Only sold house brands. Was an absolute blast. I heard it's no longer open. I hope you got to go there before it closed.

I've never actually smoked in a lounge yet either, one of the reasons I wanted to join here was to get involved in a cigar community and chat with people who appreciate cigars (not too many city people do).
