I own 351.
I have no idea.
When my package of them gets low, I order another package.
I've only used a couple of packs from the last case I bought so far.
Why one earth would you maintain a count on the number of pipe cleaners owned?
Inquiring minds have to know............

I win.
I start with a couple hundred on hand and buy when I get down to two packs.
Wish I could have done that. I started by buying five packs of B&Js. When I got down to two, I got nervous and ordered ten. Then, when I got down to five, I got nervous and ordered twenty. Now it's by the case, and I can't imagine what it's going to be like in five years. I'll have to sell tobacco to make room.
I keep a few hundred on hand. I usually order a few packs to pad a baccy order to hit the free shipping mark.
"... but the fourth little piggy built his house out of pipe cleaners. The FDA wolf (who gave up huffing and puffing to get his job), found that he could only gain entrance to the fourth piggy's house through a valid search warrant. Discouraged he transferred to Customs to gleefully open packages to the US from Cuba."
I think I have a few hundred. It fills a cigar box and that should last me years.
I got down to three packs, so I ordered two cases.
I have 3.
If I count the ones in my truck, my suv, and up at my camp I'd estimate I have somewhere around 30 bags of assorted BJ Long and 10 to 15 packs of Dill's. When I get below 10 packs/bags is when panic begins to set in and I order another 40 or so. There are 2 things I never run out of: pipe cleaners and toilet paper. Anything else I can wait for or improvise.
I have around 70, don't really think about the count until I'm down to 10 or less.
I don't know. Now you've got me all worried.
Lots of times I wait till I open my last pack before picking up another. Reckless baby, just plain reckless.
Oh wait; were we supposed to count the churchwardens, extra fluffys and ream 'n' cleans as well? I just found an old 8oz Montgomery tin with pipe cleaners in it; I have six Churchwarden Ream 'n' Cleans and I've never owned a Churchwarden in my life...
Yes you should count those too.
On a related note, does anybody know where to buy them in person? I don't want to have to go online every single time but I don't know of any major retailers that sell them.
CVS no longer has any smoking stuff. I don't see them at any liquor stores. There aren't any B&Ms that cater to tobacco smoking near me. I even tried a craft store but those pipe cleaners were not made out of the right materials.
A lot of the cigarette / tobacco stores carry them. I can find them at the grocery store in the tobacco aisle, but usually only in small packages with a significantly greater cost / unit.
Walgreens still carries pipe stuff
RiteAid carries pipes and lighters. I really don't recall seeing cleaners, but wasn't looking for them.
I'm lucky to smoke a whole bowl in a day. Only have 4 packs of Dill's cleaners, tops.
On a related note, tomorrow 4noggins has H&H Old Vintage Syrian on sale for 5.85 with a 10 tin limit. If you add $41.00 worth of pipe cleaners, puts you over $99, and you get free shipping. Just sayin'...
Wish I could have figured out a way to put "rin" in front of "10 tin"
**digs around looking to see how many pipe cleaners are in cache**
Yep. All of them! Hahahahahahaha!!!!
No luck in my area [emoji22]
Will have to see if there are any of those left in my area.
I'll check next time. Most drug stores in my area are abandoning all tobacco and tobacco related products.
Same here; our Rite Aid dumped everything. The only local spot for pipe cleaners here is the liquor store.
It's threads like this that make me enjoy reading the more jovial side of tobacco - the pipe side! Also I have no idea, 'some' I'd say.
I have two packs of the churchwarden pipe cleaners and about 10-12 packs each of regular and bristle cleaners.
