I never had much time yesterday for a full sized Fuente because of company so I huffed on a Exquisito.
I got a box of 858 sungrown, and some short story Maduro. Can't wait for Fuente Friday in a couple weeks when those settle :D
Earlier today I had a 2009 God of Fire Carlito (Prometheus, but it's still a Fuente ;) ).

Having a Shark attack
Unnamed Reserve 2013. Has a slight sweetness and nice smooth woody flavor typical of the Fuentes. Draw is nice and easy and the ash is holding well. Very nice!

My first ever shark. Having smoked every other vitola besides the 888 I will say that it lives up to the hype, but the 46 is better. I acquired it from tampa sweethearts last February, so I assume it is a 2013. Great cigar though. Full flavored and very complex early on.

Didn't realize we were doing this. Almost grabbed an Anejo a few minutes ago. Lit up and Avion instead.

Wow, what a day.
My three year old son crashed his scooter 3 weeks ago into a bush and a branch punctured his leg. X-Rays were clear but after two rounds of antibiotics and multiple doctors visits I jumped in with my wife and we drove another hour to a hospital for an ER MRI.
Within 30 minutes of the MRI he was being wheeled off to surgery!

It turned out that the MRI caught a glimpse of a 1" piece of stick stuck in his leg!
He's doing much better now but has to spend a night or two hospitalized with mommy.
On my way home I stopped at a Cigar Frogs and, after my first ever Kristoff Ligero Maduro, remembered that it was Fuente Friday! I decided to try an AF Chateau and am glad that I did! It really helped take my mind off of such a terrible day!

Just to brag a little: when my wife told my don that it was OK to cry he just bit his lip and said "No"... He took it better than either of us were!!
Glad he's on the mend. Nothing worse than watching your child suffer.
