Looking for some suggestions on non-aromatics that you've found to have a lot of sweetness to them. Really been taking to Virginias lately, especially the sweetness that you can get out of them.

Heath & Home Louisiana Red
Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake
McClelland 5100 Red Cake for a good bulk blend.
The Gatsby Luxury Flake mentioned by Mark is very good. You can get it at Cigarsinternational for only $5.99 a tin right now too. ;)
Of course for a straight Virginia blend, I'm partial to Full Virginia Flake.
Lastly I will throw one out there that is listed as an aromatic but is not at all like the goopy chemical tasting ones most people think of. MacBaren Virginia No. 1 is very tasty and sweet. Doesn't taste like cough syrup either.
***CORRECTION***
I just looked on another site and it turns out some list VA No. 1 as a aro and some do not. I dunno.
It's really good though.
Geez, Blake. This will probably bloat my "To Try" list.
I agree with @Cool Breeze about the FVF; after having several bowls of it, I'm impressed with it.
I have a small sample of that in the cabinet and have really enjoyed it. I plan to place another tobacco order soon so this thread is going to build up that cart. And of course FVF is sold out at both 4noggins and smokingpipes. Hopefully one of them get more in before I place my order.
McClelland (Blakeney's Best) tawny flake is sweet.
SG Best Brown Flake and Scottish Autumn Flake are excellent straight VAs.
Lots of good suggestions already,so naturally I will add mine.
SG Medium VA Flake is lighter bodied than FVF, but still lovely stuff.
Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster hits the sweeter spots for me.
Capstan Blue has a bit more body than HV, and the same sweetness if paced properly.
They have it at Iwan Ries.
I've seen many comments on the sweetness of Virginias. I smoke Virginias almost exclusively, but I've never experienced sweetness with any of them. I do taste "savory" (and that's what I crave).
Maybe that's related to the fact that I don't have a sweet tooth for food. I'll take cashews or Fritos in preference to any cake or candy.
Nice suggestions guys. I've got a few more to add to my list as well.
BTW, I was at my local B&M today and picked up a couple ounces of the MacBaren VA No. 1 and am enjoying a bowl right now. Good stuff and as for the aromatic part, I sure don't taste any topping. Just pure Virginia goodness. @Haebar , it's not quite as good as that sample I got from you, but still good stuff. :pipe:
And @BryGuySC , I just ordered a few ounces of SG Navy Flake thanks to you getting me hooked on that.
You guys are expensive friends to have I tell ya.
Big VA fan here!
In addition to those already mentioned,
Sutliff Sweet VA
Pretty much all of the Peter Stokkybe VA-based flakes
Rattray's VA and Marlin flakes (don't know if I'm straying too far off topic here :))
Dunhill Ready Rubbed
