The cigar world lost a great man today. Those of us who enjoy Fuente cigars (who doesn't) have lost someone who has provided us with many hours of enjoyment and relaxation. May God be with the Fuente family.

Sad news indeed. Its ironic that I smoked an Opus earlier which is quite a rarity for me.
I will smoke an opus tonight in Mr Fuentes honor.
Smoking a opus at the station right now .
Very sad news; great man of the leaf. Will be missed.
I've been tied up with life the last few days and just now saw this. Very sad indeed. When I get a chance to light up next, it's going to be a Don Carlos Personal Reserve. A great person in addition to being a cigar giant. RIP.
Sorry to hear this - one of the real authentic greats. Will have an Anejo in his honor next weekend.
Damn, first Muhammad Ali & now Carlos Fuente Sr! 2016 has been a tough year for the legends, smoking an opus asap...
:mope:
My next will be a Fuente.
Wow, this is news to me as I've been in the woods for a few days. I'm going to set my Quesada aside and have an Opus X tonight....
Just got back from a couple weeks of vacation and saw this.
RIP Mr. Fuente, you provided many great hours smoking your fine product.
Sad news indeed. I have been meaning to visit Cigar City now since moving to St Pete and this is on my list to do this year.
