How far do you end to smoke your cigar? I will normally smoke it down to 3/8" minimum. A really doow cigar I will take as far as I can go. It is not uncommon for me to have just the cap left.

When that sucka gets too hot at the end i usually dump it. Price usually not a concern if it ain't tasting good anymore into the heap it goes...

If the cigar is really good I'll smoke it down to the ground.
Depends on how it's smoking I guess. Seems most cigars I've smoked get nasty or don't want to stay lit anymore when they're about 1 1/2" long. When a cigar refuses to play nice I'm done with it. I'm not going to kill myself just to say that I've smoked it to the cap. Once in a while a cigar will stay good and tasty all the way down to the nub - those I'll smoke till they start burning my lips but that is rather rare. FYI, I usually smoke cigars anywhere in the $2 to $6 range, with an occasional excursion to about $8.50. Perhaps if I smoked $20 to $30 cigars the magic would hold out to the very end... either that or due to the expense, I'd THINK it did... but I'm not going to fork out the extra dough to find out.
Usually down to about an inch-and-a-half. If it is smoking good; tastes good, still holding together, burning relatively straight, not burning my lips or fingers; I will take it to about an inch. If it is really good and still burning well, I'll go to half an inch or less and maybe even use a nubber or the tip of my knife to hold it if I'm at home. I won't go that far in public places like at the lounge.
Depends on what's going on with it. If it's incredible, I'll stuff it in a pipe to finish it. Usually smoke them until it hurts my fingers more than it helps.....

Like most, until it's too hot for the lips or fingers and cooperative as far as the burn goes. Never used any kind of "nubber".

Yep - as far as it lets me go without burning or tasting like crap. Most times that's down to where it's going to burn itself off the nubber.
I smoke them as long as I am enjoying them. If they're good, I'll smoke them down to the nub, using a pipe if necessary. If they get bitter or too hot, I let them go out and get rid of them.
Usually down to an inch or so. If it's a great smoke I'll get out the nubber and smoke it down to about here:

Like most have mentioned, if it's good I'll smoke it down till it starts to burn the lips. I like the pipe idea, still have the corn pipe from Cigarfest so I'll start putting it to good use.
