Intro

New boy here. Heard about the forum from a YouTube view and it seemed like a good join. Took up pipes a few years back but recently got more serious. Was a cigar guy since college but decided to shift to pipes. Figuring out what I like and building a bit of a cellar since I only smoke a few bowls/week. Hoping to get input from y'all and share ideas.

What do you like to fill your bowl with?

I started out trying English blends. Realized I prefer lighter offerings like GL Pease Meridian and McClelland Oriental #8. Didn't try Va or Va/Pers for a while because I didn't want to bite or smoke too hot until I got my rhythm down. I've begun trying those and love Elizabethan Mixture and Sixpence from Pease. Also a big fan of Across the Pond and On the Bayou from the Frog.
