So of course I am looking for suggestions on a local cigar joint to visit.

No idea about Cigar bars in St. Louis, but I suggest you find another activity in St. Louis instead of watching the Rangers play! Perhaps paint is drying somewhere in town; you could stare at that for two hours.....Quote:

Charles P Stanley Cigar Bar - downtown, very classy, a bit overpriced
Gran Cru Cigars - in Soulard (pronounced "soo lard") the Irish part of town, lots of pubs around, and it's byob
Hill Cigar Co - on "The Hill" the Italian part of town, lots of great Italian restaurants around, great selection, comfy lounge, also byob
For BBQ, I'd recommend Pappy's. Get there early cause they run out of food.
Also, besides the Anheuser-Busch brewery (which offers free tours, with free beer at the end), St Louis is home to a bunch of microbreweries. So if you like beer, check out 4 Hands, Schlafly, Square One, Perennial, Urban Chestnut, Civil Life, etc...
