There are several higher end brands that go for $10 plus even online but don't get the marketing that they deserve. They're really great cigars and they can be found for $3-$5 a stick or less on the auction sites. Those are the most fun to find for me. I just picked up a box of EPM La Hermandad Costa Fuertes for $44 and 10 Oliva MB3 for $3.70 a piece.
