The resulting cavendishish is fairly bland by itself, but makes an excellent blending component and absorbs toppings well.

Here it is after steaming for about 9 hours, now on the wire rack for drying:

This is why I tried soaking my cigar leaf with whiskey and extracts 24 hours before steaming it. It was psuedo-successful.
