It was just regular, clear, common silicone caulk.
There was a mild odor from it initially, but a few days after it was set and with the door open, the smell went away permanently. Always smelled strongly of tobacco only after that.

One gorgeous cabinet!
I commend you on the gorgeous cabinet... I am envious! Yes, I have a great standing humidor that I am quite proud of, and no, I would not have the room for that sort of cabinet... but any cigar lover with the right setup would love to have it! You should put it on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace and see who bites!
