Yes I can definitely tell when wet/dry. Just been humid outside lately so my rh has gone up into the 70's yet in my apartment I feel as if it's less humid then what my hygrometer is reading. Or at least I hope so as I'm running out of options as what to do to lower my humidity

You can dry out Heartfelt beads in the oven. Just bake them at 120 or so for 15 minutes to half an hour and put them in the humidor dry after they cool. They'll suck out humidity till they turn clear. You can also put spent Boveda packs in there. They'll do the same thing till they get full and puffy. Bovedas hold a lot more water than beads too. Hope you didn't toss your spent packs
