This cannot end well...
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

That it will. Porcelain is a hard, non-porous, easily disinfected surface that withstands practically any household chemical. None of that can be said for a coat of paint. I wonder how to clean it now...

I am aware my friend. I definitely didn't walk into this without study first. I've been an artist of several mediums for over 30 years, and have applied what I know to securing this the best way possible...or at least what I hope to work. I don't plan on using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to clean these areas, not to mention, I would never try this in my 2 other (main traffic) bathrooms. This bathroom will hardly be used, and my main concern would be how the paint and sealant would hold up in the toilet sitting under the water. We can only see. The sink and toilet was sealed with a water resistant sealer, so I'm hoping for the best. I have performed scratch test before painting, and don't seem I will have much an issue with that. My main concern is water damage to the paint itself. I plan on cleaning with basic, soft house cleaners...which I also tested with the painted materials before committing to what you see. I can only hope for the best.
What I will say is, this bathroom is over 12 years old...so, it's time for a new toilet etc anyway. So, worst case, I'll be replacing old stuff.
Thank you for your input btw. I appreciate your concern and advice.
