Quite sure you're spot on regarding the cigar prices of those days.
Tho I can't be certain of the brand names I do remember 10 cent cigars alongside two for fifteen centers as late as 1948-1950.
Perhaps Dutch Masters and/or El Producto.

While the nail puller ,tapered edge was quite common on cutters...that hammer is something I've not seen before,
paired with the bottle cap opener makes it the Swiss knife of the period.
