    I agree more Beads spread out. right now I am only using 2lbs but want to add another pound to help get it more stable. I have opted to not plug my unit in and I have also opted to not plug the drain hole. I will say that when i have a change in temp my readings tend to get a little wonky be it right when it starts to get cold out for winter or right now as summer is just sticking the tip in us in southern California. My biggest challenge has been finding the perfect spot in the house that maintains a constant-ish temperature. Now in regards to temperature i tend to hover between 68-75f all year

    Summer plays "Just the tip" with us here in NC around August when the humidity ramps up.
