I've had mine (Edgestar 28) for about six years now, running non-stop in my shop. It's dealt with our East Texas humidity, hot, cold, hot & hot...and it still works like a charm. I made no modifications to the electronics of it, plugged it in and let it run. It also survived a move about 4 years ago.

It better not stop working just because I replied to this thread...
