Has anyone smoked one of these yet? Mind blowing, or just amazing?

I burned one a few weeks ago, super wet, took well over two hours to burn. I'll post up/pm some notes when I get home. Got another one on deck in a dry coffin, was thinking about burning it tmrw night.

My Father SA
Le Bijou Limited 2016
Purchased 7.14.16, $20, Small Batch
Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro/Nic/Nic Pelo D'Oro
Pre - Gorgeous dank tobacco aroma, tilled earth, peat, cocoa, espresso , nutmeg, cedar...a lot going on. Sweet maple syrup, lemon peel, pepper and subtle grapefruit; cake fondit & cocoa powder cold draw.*
1st- super rich dark flavors to start, warm molten lava cake, black coffee, fresh black pepper & a faint ripe plum sweetness on the finish. A slightly sour note is present. 10 min in the pepper fades leaving allspice, can really taste the Pelo now with its chewy mouth feel. Firm draw and minimal smoke to start, the cigar feels heavy & wet...eventually opens up to a firm draw that produces decent enough smoke. 2nd- consistent, just gets smoother with more tasty spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), raisin, coffee. 1:45 in giant nic kick...cant finish it, started getting the spins...this is one of the strongest cigars I've ever had.
Full
22/30
(it probably would have finished just over 2 hours, should be closer to 1:30 once it dries out)
Hope that helps.

Part of the problem will be reviews. With so many new releases, there's no way the normal outlets can provide reviews of most of the new releases in anywhere close to a few months. It may not matter as many new releases may not hit shelves for many months but then will they have samples available for review. If they do how much will the profile end up changing by release. Maybe they end up re-blended or need more time to settle after rolling and how they smoke as IPCPR samples will be very different from how they will smoke when released. It's going to be a madhouse and a crapshoot IMO.

I haven't kept up with the upcoming new releases, so I will be in the wait and see group. I think they call it Group W.

I'm riding that horse also. Most of what I smoke has been around awhile.....
Like my father before me, I will work the land,

Think we'll be seeing some attempts to move stocks of some cigars that have not been selling as expected due to high prices.
And, hopefully will see some discontinued blends revived under new names or in new sizes. Paul Stulac stopped both Lonsdales and Lanceros, then there a few Don Pepin Garcia cigars that could" come back as new" My father cigars examples Vegas Cubanas, San Cristobal Del Sol.
One way or another...should be seeing more than a few interesting sales/price drops soon.
Time to add a cooler?
