Well travel expenses obviously being a big variable, so excluding that, how much of a cost is it roughly? I've dabbled with the idea, but just curious as to how it would be money wise

Literally as much or as little as you want.
We smoke at Cigars International Hamburg store, so that's free. Just whatever food, drinks, and cigars that you want to buy when you're there. It seems the drink budget is the one that tends to get people in trouble sometimes.

My hotel room was $85 a night and I had two queen beds. So if you can split a room with someone, you may be looking at $40-50 a night. I didn't go to the events, so no cost there. I brought all my cigars, so no cost there. Just drinks and food were the only other costs beyond travel.
@DogRockets
Correct me if I am wrong but the dates come out at the start of the year, right?
Do it! It's so much fun! It's 7 months away and I'm ready for it!

That's not bad at all then. I'm about 4-5 hours away from where it's at so not like a big trek. You guys have enough going on at the stores to just stay there or you check out other stuff in town also?

I am about the same distance as you. For time and money's sake I drove in early in the morning and left around 6 at night. Spent the entire time in the lounge at CI with some stellar guys!
So it cost me gas to get there, you can bring your own cigars or buy some there, plus food and a few drinks. We split a bunch of pizzas with a few of us for less that $10 a piece. You can bring the food right in and a few places deliver so you never need to leave!
It is a long day to drive home but on my budget and time line for kids sports it can be done!

I don't believe the dates for 2018 have been set yet, but I'm not 100% sure.
It has been around the last week of April/first week of May it appears based on prior years.

This has to be one of the best entertainment values. Dollar for dollar it is just the best time.
It's one thing to hang out with a bunch of great guys on the Bum. But when you get to sit in a room smoking cigars, drinking and shooting the s@** it is really a great time.
