Best aroma from

I don't know if I get an aroma from the cigars I smoke. Rarely do I smoke with or near someone else, and when I do, the smell is just a typical cigar smell. I don't really smell the cigar before or while smoking it.

Retrohaling (meaning I let the smoke exit through my nose), I pick up 99% more of the details of the cigar. I don't really enjoy just letting the smoke stay in my mouth, as I can only taste a small fraction of what the cigar has to offer.

Maybe your definition of aroma is part of the "taste" I get from the nose. Then I would probably say "yes" to all of your questions. Strength, to me, doesn't always mean flavor, but more of an intensity. A strong flavor could be a richness that dominates the profile. Whereas a strong intensity (probably from ligero) does offer me a taste, usually much more subtle, but it's delivering a punch. Milder and mellow cigars usually don't have near the amount of amora/taste, but when they are more flavorful, it's usually more subtle.

Premiums are a very LOOSE term...for me. I've had $20+ Davidoffs that I thought were absolute trash. Probably the most expensive cigar I've had, the Davidoff Year of the Ox, was only 'OK at best'...not anywhere worth it's pricetag.

Yes I am the same while smoking I find it hard to smell my cigar but if am near someone who is smoking I can smell it . Strange but it's true . Have been given a cigar from a friend who gave me one of what he was smoking . Later when I smoked it I found it hard to smell it .
