I have an aversion to auctions. In fact I hate them.
The first thing I click on ebay is the 'Buy It Now' option.
Just tell me what you gotta have for it and I'll either buy it or I won't.

It's probably because when I used to go to estate auctions I'd stand around all day in the blazing sun waiting for the one or two items I was interested in to come up for sale... only to have them go sky high and sell for 3x the retail price. I bid on a bench vise one time - brand new in the box - had the original price tag of $125 still on it. Fools bid the thing up to over $400. Ridiculous. Anyway, I'm not much for auctions... but I digress...
